How can I help my students become self-directed learners?

Students in the second grade will need to become familiar with the concept of student learning centers before they can become comfortable with the unit that is being taught.

The unit gives me a plan that I can follow. It will help me to become more organized...and I need all the help with organizing. My classroom is filled with things I might need and lots of things I don't need. I plan on using this plan to transfer all my lesson plans.

Starting with me. I have to not trail off and look at all the sites that are available.
